On September 16, the meeting of the Chairman of the Television and Radio Commission Tigran Hakobyan and the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Radio and Television of Turkey (RTÜK) Deniz Guler took place in Sofia. This is reported by the Television and Radio Commission. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current developments and current challenges in the field of broadcasting, as well as a number of issues related to the activities of regulatory bodies. Reference was made to the possibilities of further development and expansion of cooperation between the regulatory bodies of Armenia and Turkey, including the exchange of experience and professional knowledge, the activation of sectoral dialogue and exchange. Cooperation in the framework of initiatives of mutual interest, as well as the importance of expanding cooperation on international and regional platforms was emphasized. The parties emphasized the continuity of such meetings, stressing the importance of dialogue in terms of effective regulation of the broadcasting sector and joint response to new challenges. The possible signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation was discussed, the draft of which is already under development.
