The process of demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in its current form contains many questions and problems. Levon Kocharyan, deputy of the "Armenia" faction, announced this during the briefing held on September 17. "We say that we are not against the process, but our demand is to first resolve the issue along the entire border, and then to act on the spot based on the mirror principle. So that, to put it bluntly, they don't throw us out like they did in Tavush. Now they are going to do the same in Tigranashen. Then the Azerbaijanis in Jermuk will say that they are not leaving," Kocharyan enumerated. According to him, this process is fraught with the fact that Armenia may face a broken trough. "I think this is a logical proposal. Why don't they do that? I don't get a logical answer. "Why Tigranashen now, and not Jermuk or Nerkin Hand?" asked the deputy. He emphasized that clear steps and disagreement with this wrong process, which is fraught with successive concessions to Azerbaijan, are necessary.
