Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agrees with the idea that Azerbaijan has occupied areas near Black Lake and Jermuk, which are an integral part of Armenia's territory. During the Q&A with the government, answering the question of MP Anush Mirzoyan, Pashinyan stated that he and other representatives of the ruling force had talked about it many times before. As for the timing of the withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces from the occupied territories, Pashinyan did not give a direct answer, noting that the issue should be resolved within the framework of the demarcation process. As a guarantee of withdrawal, he pointed to the charter of joint activities of the delimitation commissions, signed and ratified by the parliament of the previous convocation as an interstate document. The Prime Minister advised the MP to get acquainted with the document and briefly presented its essence, noting that the Declaration of Alma-Ata is enshrined as a fundamental basis. “Moreover, there are territories of Armenia that have been under occupation since 1990. These and other areas are subject to delimitation and the issue will be resolved within the framework of the procedures established by the Charter of Commissions, ”Pashinyan stated.
