I am sure that soon you will see acquittals in this case. it has no judicial perspective. And I practically do not doubt it. This was announced by the opposition "Armenia" and "Strong Armenia" parliamentary factions in that position on October 30 at the National Assembly session, during the discussion of the election of a member of the Committee for Competition and Consumer Protection. A candidate nominated by the Tunis, ARF member, former MP Artsvik Minasyan. This is how he commented on the criminal case against his brother, Edik Minasyan. In particular, Levon Levonyan, a deputy of the ruling "Civil Agreement" faction, said that the Anti-Corruption Committee had previously charged Edik Minasyan with helping to receive a bribe. The latter is the head of the Department of Armenian History at the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University. "What they are trying to present publicly now has absolutely nothing to do with reality," the candidate emphasized. He noted that there is a lot of information, most of which is a secret of the preliminary investigation and cannot be published from the chair of the parliament. At the same time, Minasyan was well aware of the circumstances of the case due to active work with the group of lawyers. "Two officials were arrested. I am deeply convinced that the relation of both of them to the case does not correspond at all, neither to the extent nor to the nature of the accusation, and even more so, to the public response it received. I don't want to declare that the case is fabricated... I try to avoid such expressions. I will only say that even if everything happened as a result of a misunderstanding, it will be eliminated very soon, and we will see acquittals," the opposition candidate emphasized.
