At the October 28 session of the National Assembly, Edgar Arakelyan received a parliamentary mandate and took an oath. He will represent the ruling "Civil Agreement" party. Arakelyan took the place of Lilit Stepanyan, who left the parliament earlier in connection with his appointment as the governor of Kotayk, RA.
