The trial in the "18 righteous" case continues. The session is chaired by judge Karen Farkhoyan. It should be reminded that Bagrat Archbishop Galstanyan is among the defendants. The bishop and the other defendants are accused of preparing a coup d'état. The accusation is based on the recordings of telephone conversations and some written "evidences", which have not been examined. One of the main "evidences" is a map that allegedly represents the scheme of the coup plot. As lawyer Tatevik Soghoyan stated earlier, that map, among hundreds of other letters and applications, was sent by believers, and it cannot be considered as a preparation for any action. In today's session, the court is questioning the experts. Andranik Ghukasyan, chief expert of the expert-criminology center of the Investigative Committee, answered the questions of the trial parties.
