Avetik Chalabyan, coordinator of the opposition "Hayakve" movement, hopes that Samvel Karapetyan will be released from house arrest. He announced this in a conversation with journalists. The politician, who was recently released from detention, noted that in the conditions of a dictatorship it is difficult to expect a judge to be guided by the dictates of conscience and the law, however, such a thing, although rare, happens, as it happened in � in the case of Chalabyan. He expressed hope that the preventive measure chosen against Karapetyan will be changed. the latter spent 450 days under arrest and house arrest. The politician emphasized that the authorities managed to subjugate most of the judges to their will, but there are still about 10 percent of those who do not obey.
