One country demands from another to change the Constitution. There is nothing like it in the world. On October 30, at the session of the National Assembly, during the discussion of the election of a member of the Competition and Consumer Interests Protection Committee, deputy speaker from the opposition, deputy of the "Strong Armenia" faction, Aram Vard. Anyan. In particular, he recalled the pre-election slogans and assurances of the acting Prime Minister of the country, Nikol Pashinyan. The latter, as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly pointed out, actually lied to the citizens when he claimed that the long-awaited peace with Azerbaijan was achieved, because the government's rhetoric changed after the victory in the elections. It turned out that Azerbaijan has a precondition regarding the amendment of the Constitution of Armenia. At first, according to Vardevanyan, the authorities tried to mitigate the situation, presenting it as Baku's rhetoric intended for internal consumption. However, later it turned out that it was a precondition. The deputy is convinced. if Pashinyan had told the truth, the results of the elections could have been completely different. "Nikol Pashinyan has no answer to the questions related to the possible "return" of 300,000 Azerbaijanis to the so-called "Western Azerbaijan", enclaves and exclaves. Nikol Pashinyan has no answer to all this. The vote of the citizens of Armenia could have been different," explained the NA vice-chairman from the opposition, reminding that the "Civil Agreement" could not secure an absolute majority in the parliament. This fact, according to Vardevanyan, clearly confirms that the current government has lost the support of a significant part of society.
