For me, the National Assembly has always been a place of honor, of national values, where issues of vital importance to the homeland are discussed. However, since 2018, the National Assembly has evolved into an environment where the fatal issues of the homeland are often discussed with carelessness, and their solutions only exacerbate the public's disappointment. It is unfortunate that under both government and opposition forces, parliament often loses its true mission, becoming the scene of political shootings and mutilation. And today I am not surprised that the NA Chair does not get enough outcry on the issues of Armenian prisoners of war, the rights of the people of Artsakh and the many issues facing the Artsakh people. When the fate of the homeland becomes secondary, one should not be surprised that its solutions do not correspond to national interests either.
