The goal of the Western countries is to maximize the risks threatening Russia in the South Caucasus and to isolate it from regional global processes. This was announced by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu. "The policy of the Western states is aimed at the exact opposite: destabilization, aggravation of threats, reduction of our cooperation with the Global South, and in the future, isolation of Russia from global processes," the Russian Council of Ministers scientist said. Shoigu noted at the session of the chairmanship of the professional council. He emphasized that Russia's strategic opponents spare no effort and resources to sever ties between the countries of the South Caucasus and Russia and create hotbeds of tension on its borders.
