Twelve people were killed in an explosion at an explosives factory in Turkey’s Balikesir province, the province’s governor, Ismail Ustaoglu, said.
“As a result of the explosion at the factory in the Karesi district, 12 of our citizens were killed and three were injured,” the Sabah newspaper quoted the governor as saying.
“The possibility of sabotage has been ruled out,” Ustaoglu said.
