Influenza A subtype H3N2, as well as other respiratory infections, including rhinovirus, bocavirus, and adenovirus, continues to circulate in the Republic of Armenia, according to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
During the 51st week, the incidence of acute respiratory infections in the Republic decreased by 1.2 times compared to the previous week.
78% of all cases are among children aged 0 to 18.
The highest rate continues to be recorded among children aged 0 to 14.
During the same period, the number of hospitalizations for acute respiratory infections in healthcare facilities also decreased by 1.2 times compared to the previous week.
91% of hospitalized cases are children aged 0 to 18 years.
