The winner of the German parliamentary elections, Friedrich Merz, said that Ukraine should be included in peace talks to achieve a fair peace.
In his opinion, it is important that Kyiv be represented in the discussions, especially in the context of negotiations between the United States and Russia, in which Ukraine is not participating.
Merz stressed that the European Union should actively support Ukraine, involving it in dialogue with Russia from a “position of strength.”
