Putin and Trump’s meeting to start at 23:30: in addition to settling the Ukrainian crisis, other topics will be discussed

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Alaska will start at 23:30 Yerevan time with a personal conversation in the presence of interpreters.

As noted by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, the central topic of the Putin-Trump summit will be settling the Ukrainian crisis, but other topics will also be discussed, the Russian presidential aide emphasized.

He added that the Putin-Trump talks will be held in a “5 on 5” format. The Russian delegation will also include Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev.
