Putin at Victory parade: Contribution of the peoples of Transcaucasia was enormous

The contribution of the peoples of Central Asia and Transcaucasia was enormous. Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in his speech at the Victory parade on Moscow’s Red Square—and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

“We honor every veteran of the Great Patriotic War, we bow our heads to the memory of all those who sacrificed their lives for the Victory. (…). We bow our heads to our comrades-in-arms, who heroically died in a just struggle for Russia,” the Russian president added, in particular, and declared a minute of silence.
