Two Turkish military helicopters collided in the central Turkish province of Isparta. Six servicemen were killed, the Turkish Defense Ministry reported.
A brigadier general, head of the ground forces aviation school, was among the dead, NTV reported.
Earlier, the governor of the province, Abdullah Erin, reported the death of five servicemen.
One of the helicopters crashed near a gas station. Fire crews were sent to the area. The fire at the crash site was quickly extinguished.
