ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl spoke to President Donald Trump by phone early Friday and asked him about the attack on Iran.
“I think it was excellent,” Trump said. “We gave them a chance, and they didn’t take it. They got hurt badly, very badly. They got hurt about as badly as you did. And that’s not all. It was much worse.”
When asked if the United States was involved in any way in the attack, Trump said, “I don’t want to comment on that.”
