Speaking to the Knesset (Israeli parliament), US President Donald Trump stated that the United States does not plan to start a war, but intends to win if conflict is inevitable.
“We’re not going to start a war. But if we do, we’ll win it like no one has ever won. And we won’t be politically correct. But we won’t get to that point,” Trump said in his speech, which was broadcast on the Knesset website.
He expressed hope that the US will never have to use the most powerful weapons in its arsenal. Trump emphasized that “there are some weapons he doesn’t like.” However, he added that the US, if necessary, “will do what’s necessary.”
