Trump is likely to name the ballroom that will be built on the site of the White House’s East Wing after himself, ABC reported, citing senior Trump administration officials.
“Officials are already calling it ‘President Donald Trump’s Ballroom,'” the network reported.
A White House spokesperson told the network that $350 million has been raised for the ballroom project, and construction will cost $300 million.
According to official records, the East Wing was built in 1902 and has been renovated several times since. Traditionally, this part of the building was used by first ladies and their teams, while the offices of presidents and their teams were located in the West Wing.
