We have many silent allies who are waiting for a positive solution to this problem at any moment. Archbishop Sion Adamyan

“They are our spiritual friends and brothers, and I hope there will be a fair trial and their release soon,” said Archbishop Sion Adamyan, head of the Armavir Diocese, speaking of the arrested priests.

“I don’t associate this with any government; these are my student friends, and I regret this. We are grateful to our prime minister for his honesty in raising issues that have persisted for many years. We didn’t join this, but we received his support because the issues we are discussing concern our spiritual security,” Archbishop Sion said.
He noted that these issues have always been raised within the church, but when the moment comes when they are not resolved, we turn to our society for support so that we can resolve these problems together.

“We have many silent allies who are waiting for a positive solution to this problem at any moment.” “Our actions are not directed against the Catholicos or Etchmiadzin, but for the sake of the Throne of Holy Etchmiadzin,” Archbishop Sion noted.
As a reminder, today Nikol Pashinyan is participating in a service at the Church of St. Gevorg in Aygeshat, Metsamor community, Armavir region.
