An explosion occurred at a military base in the city of Gimhae in the southeast of the Republic of Korea, Yonhap reported.
Three people were reported injured, and their burns are not life-threatening. They are not military personnel. According to Yonhap, the explosion occurred during an inspection of a newly built tank for storing hazardous substances at a supply base in Gimhae. The cause of the incident is still unknown.
