As part of the Belgian delegation, a representative of "Alfa Prime" company operating in the field of mining, which uses quite serious innovative technologies in the field of mining, also visited Armenia. Valery Safaryan, the president of the Belgium-Armenia Chamber of Commerce, mentioned this today, on October 7, during a meeting with journalists in the press hall of "Armenpress". "Those technologies have developed quite a bit in recent years and make it possible, for example, in mines where the percentage of minerals extracted from one ton is quite low, to significantly increase that percentage. Belgium is a leader in this field," he said. Safaryan also informed that a Center of Excellence and Healthcare will be established in Armenia. "This mission is led by a team of Belgian business leaders. This will be an investment that will be carried out by Belgian enterprises and will be supported by Diaspora Armenians. This program also involves the training of a certain number of doctors and medical personnel. This will be more of a center for the elderly. This is a good cooperation with a large Belgian hospital center. Let's say, elderly people visiting Armenia can stay there for 1-2 weeks, it doesn't have to be long. There will be people who will be able to buy a room on an annual basis and stay for a long time. First of all, this will be aimed at Diaspora Armenians, because it will be more obvious for them to visit there, to use the services, or to use the Armenian hospitality. The idea is to develop other related programs to attract as many people as possible and develop medical tourism," he said, adding that the center will be in Arzni.
