Singer Tata Simonyan's team released a statement regarding the honor received from the September 21 concert. The statement says: "In recent days, information has been circulating in the press and social networks that Tata Simonyan received a personal honorarium of 20 million drams from state funds. This information is not true. 20 million drams is intended for the implementation of the entire music project and is not a personal fee paid to Tata Simonyan. As of now, about 2 million drams of that amount have already been paid as taxes, 2 million 600 thousand drams have been transferred to the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, 1 million 390 thousand drams have been paid to the Levon Travel company, and about 2 million drams have been directed to the notes. 400,000 drams for the sound processing in the studio, and about 700,000 drams for the administrative expenses, for instrumentation, recording and score creation. Thus, the above-mentioned and already incurred expenses amount to around 9 million drams. The rest of the budget is intended for the filming of a video dedicated to Yerevan and related production works. In the course of further works and payments, corresponding tax obligations will also arise. It should also be noted that the author of the work is Tata Simonyan himself, but as the author of the song he did not receive any separate royalties. The purpose of this clarification is simply to present the true picture. we are talking about the budget of one complete music project, not the 20 million drams personal fee paid to Tata Simonyan.
