From October 20, the new sitcom "Bari Galust" will start airing on Shant TV, which will present itself to the viewers not only with a new story and cast, but also with an interesting feature. the project was shot entirely in Greece. Irina Harutyunyan, Arman Navasardyan, Marinka Khachatryan, Delon, Eva Khachatryan, Norayr Yeghyan, Arman Gevorgyan, Sergey Grigoryan, Vahe Petrosyan and other actors starred in the sitcom. "Bari Galust" is the first production experience for the popular actor Aghas Manukyan. He is also the co-author of the script in the project. Aghas told how the project was born, how the cast was formed, why he decided to act as a producer for the first time, why he did not appear in the sitcom and what to expect in the first season of "Bari Galust". "It was time to do something to make everything your own." According to Aghas Manukyan, the decision to switch to production was not accidental. He wanted to create a project where he could shape both the script, the creative team, and the cast according to his own imagination. "I realized that it's time to do something where everything will be to your liking: the script, the film crew, and the actors. That's how I made this decision," he said. According to Aghas, the proposal to create the project was made by Karlen Arakelyan, who is the co-owner of the Akva Buildings company in Greece. Aghas worked on the script with Hayk Sargsyan and Artak Vasilyan. The story of the sitcom was formed as a result of the joint work of the three authors. Why didn't Aghas appear in a sitcom? Although Aghas Manukyan is a direct participant in the idea, script and production of the project, this time he decided not to appear in the cast. "I made the decision not to film, so that I could fully focus on the production work, to make it perfect, without mistakes. I think the team will prove that I succeeded," says Aghas. What is "Bari Galust" about? The actions of the sitcom mainly develop in the hotel environment. The idea was born when the creative team got acquainted with the activities of Akva Buildings in Greece. That environment prompted the authors to create a story about hotel employees, where the relationships between different characters: the director, the cleaner, the bartender, the host and other employees are the reason for many funny situations. in "We imagined that different characters of the hotel might be involved there. We imagined various funny situations, which, we think, will interest our viewers," Aghas said. However, "Bari Galust" is not only a series of humorous situations. According to Aghas, the basis of history is also the contrast between good and evil. "We want them to laugh a lot. The uniqueness of "Bari Galust" will be just that. At the same time, it will show that good triumphs over evil. In our case, we are talking about someone who spoils the atmosphere of the staff. After all, everyone in our sitcom, regardless of disputes, becomes one family," he said. Դերասանների ընտրությունը Aghas Manukyan chose the cast of the sitcom together with director Arman Melikyan. According to him, he already imagined the characters of some actors even in the stage of creating the script. "While writing the script, I already knew in my mind who it would be. That's why the sitcom will be very organic," says Aghas. Regarding the selection of the creative team of the project, he also had a certain idea in advance. After the final decision, he invited Arman Melikyan and his team to cooperate. The first Armenian comedy project filmed in Europe "Welcome" was filmed entirely in Greece. According to Aghas, the shooting process was quite easy and pleasant. "We had very good and light filming. I think this is the first Armenian humorous sitcom or series that is filmed in Europe," he says. Naturally, the filming days spent in Greece were not only in working mode. There have been many funny stories related to the team, although Aghas finds it difficult to single out any of them. No advertising placements The authors of the project also decided to refuse advertising placements in the sitcom. According to Aghas, it was an important precondition for them. "This is a very important prerequisite. We want the viewer to laugh a lot," he says. According to him, the team also tried to make a certain change in both the script and the humorous approach of the sitcom, creating a light, funny and at the same time human story. "Bari Galust" will be continuous The new sitcom is not intended for just one season. According to Aghas Manukyan, the project will be continuous, and the creative team is already thinking about the second season. "We are already thinking about the second season. We plan to present it in 2027," he said. The first season of the sitcom "Bari Galust" will be on Shant TV from October 20.
