All countries, including Armenia and China, can join efforts to improve global governance. On September 24, during the conference "Political Science and International Relations" held at Yerevan State University, Gao Fei, the rector of the Chinese University of Foreign Affairs, announced this. According to him, both Armenia and China participate in global governance processes, so both countries can cooperate. He noted that China is ready to contribute to the reform of the global financial and trade system and increase its efficiency. According to the evaluation of the rector of the university, China has achieved quite good results in a number of new fields, for example, in the field of artificial intelligence. At the same time, he noted that even big powers like the United States and China cannot face the emerging challenges alone, so it is necessary to unite efforts. "We need global governance. we don't need one or two world rulers," Gao Fei emphasized. He emphasized that radical changes are taking place in the world today, and traditional international institutions are unable to keep up with these changes. "Today, new fields such as artificial intelligence or global health care have emerged, which are beyond the scope of traditional international institutions," said the head of the Chinese Foreign Affairs University. Gao Fei called for thinking about improving global governance, because, according to him, all countries, including Armenia, China, the United States and the United Nations, are strongly criticizing it. He emphasized that it is necessary to carry out reforms on the basis of traditional international institutions and solve all the problems through dialogue. He clarified that the main goal of the Chinese delegation's visit to Armenia is to establish contacts between people, especially academic circles and various educational institutions. Gao Fei reminded that today China has become the second largest economy in the world, and its gross domestic product (GDP) is four times higher than the GDP of Japan and Germany. "We are proud of our economic development. We have achieved great success in many areas, one of which is domestic policy. The sequence of domestic policy is extremely important. China pays great attention to common prosperity," the head of the university emphasized, adding that within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, China is ready to contribute to the common development of countries.
