On September 23, the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Financial, Credit and Budgetary Issues Liana Manukyan, deputy chairperson Tsovinar Vardanyan and members of the committee Hayk Farmanyan, Artur Khachatryan and Eduard Aghajanyan met at the Ministry of Finance. to the delegation led by Alexander Timan, head of the Armenian mission of the International Fund (IMF). The National Assembly reports that the chairman of the commission emphasized the importance of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund not only for financial support, but also for professional dialogue, strengthening of institutional capacities, long-term development of Armenia. from the point of view of steps contributing to stability. Liana Manukyan expressed hope that the cooperation with the International Monetary Fund will be continuous. In turn, the head of the IMF mission in Armenia, Alexander Timan, presented the purpose of the visit, emphasized cooperation with the National Assembly, referred to the implementation process and targets of the reserve program supported by the IMF, which in particular, they refer to the RA budget deficit and the level of Central Bank reserves. At the meeting, reference was made to RA fiscal policy, energy and water sectors, state debt management, economic growth and risks, prices to questions related to recent regional developments.
