A tent settlement is currently being built in one of the military training camps, where the participants of the 25-day gatherings of the reservists will undergo 10-day training. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan announced this during a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly. He assured that quite high social-housing and household conditions will be provided in that area. Papikyan clarified that the European Union provided financial support to this project through the Peace Fund toolkit. According to the minister, the gatherings are organized according to the military professions of the participants. "Moreover, we are trying to put more emphasis on applying civilian knowledge and skills of the participants in the army," added the minister.
