In the October 2026 professional periodical of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP News, No. 102), the article "Human Trafficking in Armenia" authored by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan was published. the article entitled "development of legal and practical frameworks". RA General Prosecutor's Office informs about this. In the article, the Prosecutor General presented the development of legal regulations against human trafficking in the Republic of Armenia, the legislative reform implemented in the field. as well as the practice of investigating and prosecuting trafficking cases. The results recorded in the direction of identification of trafficking cases, protection of victims, interdepartmental cooperation and confiscation of illegal property obtained through criminal means were also presented.
