The President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Armenia Claudia Bush on the occasion of the National Day of the Federal Republic of Germany. President Khachaturyan congratulated the ambassador, the people of Germany and the authorities, wishing peace, prosperity and success. Ambassador Claudia Bush thanked for the reception and good wishes, emphasizing her efforts to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the development of cooperation between Armenia and Germany in political, economic and other fields and the deepening of cooperation within the framework of the European Union. Reference was also made to Germany's continuous support for the reforms of democratic and state institutions in Armenia.
