The presentation of the book "The Secret Way of Hovazadzor" published with the support of Ucom took place at the Green Zone pavilion of Ucom and FPWC. The event was held within the framework of the "Sunny" international environmental festival and COP17, bringing together young people on the topics of books and nature. The environmental fairy tale tells about the expedition of Azat and his friends, which turns into a mysterious adventure with unexpected encounters with wild animals. This story about friendship and mutual aid introduces young readers to the wildlife of Armenia, teaching them to recognize, understand and preserve it. "At Ucom, we believe that a responsible attitude towards nature is formed from an early age through recognition, curiosity and asking questions. The book can be an important companion on that path. As a "green" company, by supporting such initiatives, we want to create new opportunities for young people to learn and discover the world around them. Environmental education is also one of the important directions of our cooperation with FPWC, through which we strive to contribute to the formation of a more aware and caring generation," said Ucom General Director Ralph Yirikyan. At the presentation, the book's author and illustrator, Shogher Petrosyan and Emma Isakhanyan, presented the idea and creation history of the work. The young participants talked with the creators of the book, asked them questions and shared their impressions. The meeting was accompanied by the reading and discussion of excerpts from the book. At the core of Arevordi festival and our educational programs has always been the formation of environmental awareness and care among the young generation. The book "The Secret Road of Hovazadzor" is not just an adventure story, but a unique bridge between children and the rich biodiversity of Armenia. We are glad that with the support of our long-time partner Ucom, we are able to involve young people in the most important work of nature conservation through literature, art and films," emphasized Sona Kalantaryan, director of "Arevordi" NGO. The book will also be presented as part of the Education Day held at the KM-GBF pavilion in the Blue Zone of COP17, which is dedicated to the role of education in biodiversity conservation and the promotion of international cooperation. Ucom has a long-standing partnership with the Wildlife and Cultural Heritage Foundation (FPWC), supporting nature conservation, environmental education and community development initiatives. Support for the Arevordi festival and the publication of the book "The Secret Road of Hovazadzor" is a part of this partnership.
