Nearly 80 people have been injured in the protests and riots of high school students in France, the country's national education minister, Eduard Geoffre, said on Wednesday. “I am concerned not about student demands, but violence. Since the start of the protests, 76 people have been injured, 18 of whom are employees of educational institutions,” Geoffre said on RTL radio. French students have been taking to the streets for a week because of a busy schedule, teacher shortages, and other educational issues. In some places, demonstrations have been accompanied by riots and fires. According to the Student Union, around ten universities and more than 400 high schools were blocked across France on Tuesday.
