The Polish Constitutional Tribunal building gained traction after the country's President Karol Navrotski arrived there at night in the wake of the escalation of the political crisis. The Head of State interrupted his visit to Senegal and returned to Poland after Judge Anna Corvin-Piotrovska announced the temporary suspension of the powers of the President of the Tribunal Bogdan Svenchkowski. Accordingto RMF24, Navrotsky entered the tribunal building on Saturday at about one o'clock at night, accompanied by the first president of the Supreme Court, Zbigniew Kapinski. There was traction at the entrance. The details of the collision and possible casualties are not disclosed in the publication. The crisis escalated on Friday evening when an order temporarily suspending the powers of Svenchkowski and Vice President Bartlomei Sokhansky was published on the website of the Constitutional Tribunal. The court management rejected the announced changes and announced the illegal seizure of its website. Corvin-Piotrovska, in turn, announced the need to change management. In the evening, Svenchkowski arrived at the court building, but police restricted his access. Later, the protesters cut off the chain of the doorway, and Svenchkowski, the leader of the Right and Justice party, Jaroslav Kaczynski, and the former minister of culture, Piotr Glinski, entered the space. The tribunal president, however, was not allowed to move further. Kapinski, the first president of the Supreme Court, called the incident a “coup d 'état” and declared it illegal to take action against the tribunal. Prime Minister Donald Tusk, on the contrary, has stated that restoring the rule of law requires decisive action. In the wake of the conflict, Polish ambassadors to China and Romania announced their resignations, explaining their decisions to the country's internal situation.
