The Commander-in-Chief of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Ahmad Vahidi, stated that without US support, the Israeli army could be destroyed "in a very short time", Mehr agency reports. According to him, the American military faced the "powerful barrier" of Iran's faith and determination. Speaking at the joint session of the IRPC and the Iranian Army Commands held in Tehran, Vahidi noted that the enemy made a serious mistake in assessing the capabilities of the Iranian Armed Forces. According to him, the Iranian military showed high efficiency during the last two wars, in which the USA and Israel fought against Iran. Vahidi emphasized that one of the main achievements of the recent armed conflicts was national unity. According to him, the army, the IRPC and other power structures have shown an unprecedented level of cooperation and coordination both in the intelligence and operational spheres. "The Americans faced a powerful barrier of Iranian faith and determination," the IRGC commander said. He added that the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which he called Iran's two main anti-American forces, had dealt a serious blow to the enemy during the last conflict. The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Major General Amir Hatami, in his turn announced the high combat capability of the country's armed forces and emphasized that Tehran is not going to make concessions in the matter of national interests under any circumstances. According to Hatami, the cooperation between the army and the IRPC is one of the key elements of national security. He warned that any aggression against Iran will receive a "quick, united, balanced and powerful response". The meeting of the command of the army and the IRPC was held on Saturday in Tehran. The military leaders discussed the latest events on the battlefield and stated that the capabilities of the Iranian armed forces significantly exceed the estimates of the opponents.
