White House chief of staff Susie Wiles announced on Wednesday that she has recovered from cancer half a year after being diagnosed. US President Donald Trump was the first to announce that Wiles was diagnosed with breast cancer in March. "With gratitude, I would like to share some personal news. After a visit to the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results were confirmed. I got rid of cancer," he wrote on X social network. The chief of staff of the White House also thanked relatives, friends and doctors for their support. "Special thanks to President Trump for his unwavering support. I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First program," Wiles added. According to CBS, after undergoing medical procedures this week, 69-year-old Wiles almost immediately returned to work at the White House, holding business meetings and calls.
