In case of creating a permanent US military base in Poland, it can be called "Fort Trump". Polish President Karol Nawrocki said this in an interview with Bloomberg on September 23 in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. He expressed hope that Washington and Warsaw will finish preparing the project soon. According to Navrotsky, the creation of the base is only a matter of time, and he would like to finish the construction before the end of Trump's term of office (2029). "When the governments of the two countries finish their work, I think that President Trump will personally participate in the opening of Fort Trump," Navrotsky noted. He also added that Poland is ready to receive the American military if the USA reduces its military contingent stationed in Germany.
