US President Donald Trump has stated that Iran is most likely connected with the air attack against Saudi Arabia, due to which the operation of the "East-West" oil pipeline was disrupted. This is one of the main routes of Saudi oil exports bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. This is reported by Reuters. "I think it's very likely that they are behind it," Trump told reporters in Dublin, answering the question about Tehran's possible participation in the attack on the oil pipeline. The head of the White House also announced that he had a conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, whom he called his "good friend". According to Trump, Yemen's Houthis, who are sponsored by Iran, contacted his administration, making it clear that they are against direct intervention of the United States in the conflict. He added that the Houthis let most of the ships passing through the region unhindered, but "there is only one country" they are dissatisfied with. "They prefer that we do not interfere, and they allow most of the ships to pass. There is only one country that they are not very happy with, and we will solve its issues," Trump emphasized.
