According to the assessment of the head of the government, other markets were closed, because the possible sources of supply reasoned that Armenia is a member of the CSTO, so the samples of weapons can appear in third countries. "Besides, there was a concern that the sold weapons could be used outside the internationally recognized territory of Armenia," added the Prime Minister. He noted that after the military parade on May 28, no neighboring country caused a problem, because it was obvious that Armenia would not use its army outside its internationally recognized territory, except for peacekeeping missions. Pashinyan assured that the previous thinking has always created security challenges. "Moreover, we came to this not through analysis, but life forced us. After the events of September 2022, it became obvious that if we do not change the thinking model, we will lose Armenia. In 2022, we were on the verge of losing the statehood, sovereignty and independence of Armenia. We have to take this into account," he said. According to him, security is a more multifaceted phenomenon than one can imagine. "Until 2022, the security formula was simplistic, as it consisted of only one sentence: "The CSTO will ensure our security." This sentence had neither a continuation nor a preface. It was a system consisting of one component," Nikol Pashinyan emphasized. At the same time, the Head of the Government noticed that a country without a combat-ready army can become a target of aggression, therefore, according to him, Armenia is developing a combat-ready army to protect its internationally recognized territory.
