Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AİH) and China's Silk Road Fund (SRF) are creating a joint investment fund. According to AİH, the total capital of the fund will be 7.5 billion Chinese yuan (about 1 billion dollars). The structure will finance investment projects both in Azerbaijan and in other countries participating in the Chinese "One Belt, One Road" initiative. It will create a platform for AİH and SRF to jointly evaluate investment opportunities and finance prospective projects. The new mechanism will open additional opportunities for expanding investment cooperation and attracting long-term capital in various projects. The creation of the fund is based on the framework agreement signed between the two institutions in April 2025. AİH and SRF plan to continue their joint work in identifying and financing projects of mutual interest.
