Goyard has redefined the term "dog's life". If it once symbolized hardship, deprivation, and endless work, now it can mean something else entirely: living in a personal, 45-pound mansion, completely decorated with Goyard's signature aesthetic. The French luxury house has introduced Niche GM, a luxurious indoor dog crate that looks like a miniature country house or the brand's iconic travel trunk. Measuring 77 x 68 x 77 centimeters, the structure has a roof, two windows, a removable door, and a double layer mattress. Inside this "mansion", small and medium-sized dogs can roam freely, then return to their personal space at any time. The Niche GM is made of black Goyardine canvas combined with brown Clamecy leather, closely resembling the classic Goyard luggage rack. Even the details are made in the best traditions of the brand: metal parts with palladium coating, leather "gendarme" handles, leather straps and leather corners. Small windows allow your pet to observe the surroundings, and a removable door allows them to exit and return to their miniature palace at will. Comfort is also carefully considered. Inside there is a double-layered membrane mattress, and the walls are covered with a yellow monochrome canvas cover as a protective layer. It's easy to keep clean, just wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little soap. This is not the first time that Goyard has turned to the world of pets. The brand's tradition of creating accessories for pets dates back to the 1890s. It was then that Edmond Goyard was selling accessories for dogs, cats and even monkeys, and with that the Le Chic du Chien line was born. More than 130 years later, Goyard has essentially returned to its roots. it's only now that pet care has reached a whole new level. Made in France, Niche GM is a true designer "home" for four-legged aristocrats, styled like the famous travel suitcases of the French house. And the price is appropriate. the luxury dog house is officially for sale for approximately $49,000. It seems that for most domesticated animals, the idea of "living like a dog" now means living better than most people.
