Various representatives of Nagorno-Karabakh are subjected to political persecution in Armenia. Moreover, exclusively for the fact that they raise their voice and strive to protect their rights. Artak Beglaryan, the former ombudsman of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, announced this at the press conference held on September 25. "When we want to propose solutions to this or that issue, hatred towards the people of Artsakh is ignited in the information field. In general, there is hate speech against different strata of the Armenian people, political groups and parties. However, the people of Artsakh are the special target of hate propaganda carried out by the current government. All those who act or express an opinion contrary to the current government's ideology and political course become targets. This is a painful and dangerous trend that leads Armenia to an even greater weakening and division of society. Moreover, in the conditions when external threats have not disappeared anywhere, and uncertainties and risks are increasing," said the former ombudsman.
