Fire broken out in Akunq area extinguished

On September 16, at 12:10, a call was received to the Kotayk Regional Operational Management Center that a grass fire was burning in Akunk settlement. This was informed by the Rescue Service. Two combat units from the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Squad dispatched to the scene. The fire was isolated at 18:15 andextinguished at 21:45. Two community water pipes, 20 residents of the village, 5 trucks and 2 special tractors were involved in the firefighting. About 7,000 forage and hollow tires were burned. Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading.
